You will probably need to join radiator hoses, or parts of hoses to make hoses suitable for your cooling system. I can supply 1.5 inch diameter aluminium tube to join the hoses, I roll a bead at the ends of the tube to prevent the hoses blowing off[when a clamp is used of course]. At the moment I only do 1.5 inch tube, which is tight in landrover hoses, a smear of silicon makes it easy to get the hose over them[I just spit on them]. Tight is better than loose though. I might get 1.375 inch tube if I get more enquiries, but I have a feeling the ideal size would be somthing odd like 36mm.. You will need a short length-approx 4 inches-to join two hoses to make the top hoes[wrong sort of ho?].. The bottom hose works well with a 14.75 inch hard tube with a Land Rover bottom hose at each end; It can be made with the branch for the oil cooler supply by cutting a bit of hose with a branch and joining that to two land rover bottom hoses. I think three joiners should do for most instalations[one joiner for the bottom]. 4 inch[150mm] lengths with a bead around both ends are £1.5 each. Enquire for prices on longer or shorter lengths. I can make tubes with branches welded in, as pictured in the Figure below, however they will be about £15 each. |
